Airbnb

One item to note, the Chicago Yacht Club has two stations (locations) in Chicago - (1) Belmont Station 300 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657 - launching/hauling/mast up/down as well as trailer storage will be at the Belmont location (2) Monroe Station - 400 E Monroe St, Chicago, IL 60603 - will be hosting the event, docking, parties, any off the water activities. The Monroe location is closer to downtown Chicago and the Loop. Ideally an Airbnb near Monroe station will be easier to get to/from each day. Don’t rule out suburb locations west and north of the city, like Oak Park or Evanston either as they are quick commutes.

https://www.sonder.com/ Similar to Airbnb but closer to a hotel feeling - offer a number of accommodations near Monroe station that are reasonably priced.

Hotels

Chicago is filled with hotels. Key is book early - many offer larger rooms or suites. A couple travel teams have had some luck calling direct to see if they are willing to offer a reduced rate with multiple rooms. Always welcome to coach surf or sleep on the boat if needed too!
